Dave's goal in working with individuals, teams, and organizations is to help people become the best communicators they can be. Consider the following options in developing your communication skills or those of others.
COMMON GROUND COMMUNICATION
COACHING
Dave starts the coaching process by determining the existing communication skills of each client. Working together they create a plan to enhance their existing skills and work on skills on which they need to improve. Specific skills on which they want to work are identified. Dave provides ongoing support in changing each skill on which they want to work.

Workshop: Creating common ground connections
This workshop provides participants with guidelines for using the common ground connections approach and their existing skills to enhance their current communication. At the beginning of the workshop, participants assess their current communication. They then identify a specific skill or skills skills on which they want to work.
To help them in their skills development, participants utilize the information from the topics covered in this workshop including: 1) conflict management, 2) the unconscious communicator, 3) empathy, 4) verbal and nonverbal communication, 5) listening, 6) sharing perceptions, and 7) creating personal change. Participants actively engage with others in learning new and innovative approaches to communicating with others that they can use immediately.
Together with their own ideas and the content of this workshop, they create an action plan to work on the skills they identified at the beginning of the workshop.
Meeting and Conference Presentations
Dave does presentations to meetings and conferences on communication topics that are tailored to the group. He gets people excited about their communication in a fun and entertaining way. He also provides guidance on how each participant can establish common ground and really connect with others even those with whom they have the strongest differences.

Healing divisiveness and conflict facilitation
The world has become increasingly divided over the last few years. Those divisions are trickling down to each person's professional and personal lives. What can each person do in this environment? It's more than just conflict resolution. Increasingly people are entrenched in their beliefs and downright angry at anyone who disagrees with them.
This workshop or facilitated meeting demonstrates the importance of communication in bringing people together. Specifically, the actions in creating common ground connections can help participants not only resolve conflict, but also develop long-term, productive relationships. Creating common ground connections is geared toward interacting with all people, but is especially geared to those people with whom you have the strongest disagreements.
